The highlight was seeing the coconut tree climber. The guides were very kind and funny. At a small stand you can buy locally made parfumes and soap which smell very good. “It was a really interesting tour! We saw different spices (cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, turmeric, cloves, pepper) and fruits (mango, avocado, jackfruit, guava). Our guide explained the plants as well as the ways of harvesting and the traditional use of the spices. We could even try the majority of them. At the end, there was a coconut climber, singing the traditional Jambo song. (Be prepared to be expected to give tips to the guide, his assistant and the climber).
